Default Runnig XCode on OS X - 06-24-2009, 12:55 PM

I'm interested in getting a mini 9 to do some iPhone development. Has anyone run XCode successfully on a Hackintosh mini 9? If so, are there any known issues (e.g. running the emulator, compile time issues, etc.)?

Works fine for me - I use it for exactly this.

The full simulator screen does not fit on the mini9 but the usable bit does and so thats fine.

I've run Xcode, IB and Simulator.

Compiling is a little slower, but only really noticeable on the first build - after that, a lot is cached. My projects are generally quite small - 60 files or less.

I have 2gb ram in my mini9.

Small projects are fine. Bigger projects don't work for me because the mini 9 screen is too small. When you have lots of windows open (tools), it gets congested. Hook your mini 9 to an external monitor and you'll see what I mean.

Haven't used on my Mini 9 yet, but I have it installed for the compiler support (for MacPorts, etc), and those run just fine. The Atom processor has more power than my old G4 that I used to code on.

Sold my Mini 9 for a larger netbook, one that's easier on my wrists and hands.
Current Machine: 2010 MacBook Pro 13", 2.4 GHz C2D, 4GB RAM, Win7 Pro x64/OS X 10.6.3

And I play with my girlfriend's Mini 10v ^_^.

Interested in using MATLAB on the Mini 10v? Check out my benchmarks!
