Default Anyone running photo mechanic on Mini 9? - 06-17-2009, 11:31 PM

Any photographers out there using PhotoMechanic by Camera Bits on their Mini 9. Any problems running it...? any tweaks, thoughts?

I run photoshop and photomatix on mine. The processor is very slow, but it does get the job done. Converting raw files takes about 10 seconds per photo, compared to 1 second on my desktop.

I've just written a blog post about using a Mini 9 running OSX as a photographer's location laptop. Photo Mechanic is one of the apps I use all the time. It runs pretty well. There are a couple of dialog boxes that are too tall for the screen and get cut off at the bottom, but if you know the app well enough you can get around these boxes using the keyboard.
