Thumbs down Dell Mini 9 - Hackintosh Bootloader Problems - 06-15-2009, 12:27 PM

For some reason I have downloaded the .ISO file, burned it to a CD-R, ran it with my DellMini from an external DVD Drive, and my Dell Mini just runs the normal start up and goes straight to Ubuntu without bringing up the command prompt "boot:" I did click on DVD/CD drive in the boot options start up and that still doesn't do anything. I have tried unplugging and powering on and off my CD Drive to maybe help it find the disk, but it didn't work. I am running the retail version of OSX 10.5.6 and the bootloader both off of a external hard drive -- no USBs involved. Thanks for your help

check the BIOS: press "2" at start and see if the CD/DVD is enabled.

where do I see if CD/DVD is enabled? under the "boot" tab I have it listed as the first item so it boots off the CD/DVD first
