Default OSX + Win7 is it posible? - 06-11-2009, 08:22 AM

I will be getting my DM9 tmorrow, was thinking izzit posible for me to do dual boot:

windows 7/xp lite on 32GB SDHC (card reader)

or the other way around


ps: was actually getting 10v but dell havent updated my order for almost a week now so I cancelled and found a reseller still have DM9 for a bargain price

I don't believe so, although someone who knows better is sure to chime in. The issue is that the card reader isn't bootable. Theoretically though, it is with the 10v.

Indeed - the SD card is not bootable. Windows won't install onto a removable drive, anyway.

there is a way to make window boot from USB but need some deep reading , but what if the OSX on the SSD and using the OSX boot loader to boot windows?

or can OSX boot from SD?

last resort buy bigger SSD but currently it impossible for me shipping rate to my country is almost half price of the SSD
