Anyone else annoyed by the power led? Any solutions besides electrical tape?

I bet you could rough it up with small grit sandpaper then apply a permanent marker. I doubt it would black it out, but should tint it considerably.

Good suggestions. I think I'll try my son's washable markers first.

I just slapped 2 or 3 layers of masking tape over it. Ahhh, much better.

IF you really want to take care of it, go to your local auto supply store like Kragen or Pep Boys and buy some of that cheap window tinting film ~$10 or so. Then cut the tinniest slice of it and apply it to the light on the outsode of the mini.

I have soo.. many bright leds going at all times that the mini is pale in comparison.
They make great night lights!
My guess is it is the white that seems to annoy so many people.

Are we talking about one of the LEDs on the front left of the unit? I have never seen a Mini 9 in person, so I just wondered. My wife has a Toshiba notebook and I can't even use it the power light is so bright.
