Default Help! screwed up my vostro's logo! - 05-24-2009, 04:21 PM

hey guys-

so last night i decided to finally remove the "n series" and "intel atom" stickers from my vostro. I carefully took them off, but the left some residue. I took out my goof-off (the ultimate remover) and swabbed a litte at the residue. It came off fine, and left the bottom right corner of my vostro looking fine.

i then saw the "vostro" logo in the top right corner above the keyboard, and decided to remove that too. what i didn't realize was that it was made of a different plastic, and when i swabbed off the logo, it remove some of the black color, and left a big ugly mark there. If anybody had any ideas on how to improve the spot or hide it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone havea pic of the Vostro? I'm yet to see an actual image other than Dell stock images.

Please do not send me support requests via PM.
