Default OS X Hack - resolution problem - 05-21-2009, 12:36 AM

After following a great tutorial on how to install OS X on my Dell Mini 9 (Installing Mac OS X on a Dell Mini 9 –Â*the easy way (Updated 3x) | The Apple Core | , I got stuck at the very last step. When installing DellEFI app, upon the restart, the resolution freaks out and I don't see anything. The cursor works, looks fine, etc. but the background is grey with random black horizontal lines all over the place. The computer isn't frozen, but rather doesn't seem to have a proper video driver.

1. Is there an updated version of DellEFI I don't know about that's for 10.5.7 (not 10.5.6 as mentioned in the tutorial)
2. Is there a way to 'roll back' the driver to what it was?

I've contacted the creator of the tutorial, but I'm sure he gets thousands of emails a day and haven't heard from him. If anyone has ideas or solutions, please share them and I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance,
