Default Acronis True Image - 05-14-2009, 12:34 PM

Just used the trial version of this program to make an image of my now perfectly smooth running mini 9 ssd with all the updates & essential programs loaded. I also made an Acronis boot disk so now the 2 act as recovery media for my system.

My question is would the 2 be time limited as is the trial version of the program which last for 15 days?

I got my doubts the DOS level install on the backups would be. The windows portion will quit after the 15 days, mine did. I got one off e-bay for $25.00, new boxed version.

As long as the rescue disk continues to work, you can use it for both backing up and restoring.

Maxtor Maxblast is a free program which is the same as TrueImage, except that you need to have a Seagate or Maxtor hard drive connected when you run it. The Seagate or Maxtor can be running on a USB port.
