Heh...I was going to write something parenthetically when I linked to the XP dirver list above regarding that same thing, but I didn't want to come across as being too fanboy-ish. But it's true - the minute the Ubuntu install is done, every bit of hardware works. With 9.04, even my video card on my desktop computer works without having to download and use one of the restricted drivers that I had to use in previous versions (and the new, unrestricted driver did not require config file editing to get dual monitors to work like the restricted drivers of past).
Anyway, I'm not trying to start a flame war. After all, on my desktop I have VirtualBox with an XP Pro virtual machine installed so I can do several things that I either can't do or can't do anywhere near as easily with Ubuntu, so I'm well aware of my preferred systems deficiencies.
Now if we can only get those Mac people to admit their system's deficiencies...just kidding. OS X is an amazing OS, and I can only imagine how cool it is to have it on the mini 9. I'm just not willing to drink the Apple Kool-Aid. Also, I'm cheap.
Sorry for taking this thread way off track. Good luck with your XP Pro install. I doubt you will run in to any huge issues.
