| Junior Member Posts: 5 Join Date: Apr 2009 | I'm surprised nobody ever mentions Notebook Hardware Control: http://www.pbus-167.com/ I have it on my larger laptop and its and excellent free tool. It will tell you the CPU clock speed and its temp, the HDD temp, battery life in time, allow you to adjust voltages and will do much much more. I tried it on my mini for a little but didn't feel like keeping it due to a lack of storage. The programs' "dynamic frequency switching" feature wasn't supported by the mini so it always displayed a clock speed of 1.6, versus my other laptop that would vary between 800mhz and 2ghz depending on usage. Also, I cant verify if the battery will display a time on the mini, as I was too impatient for it to fully analyze my battery. :? It's worth checking out. |
