It's easy to make a LiveUSB from a Windows or Linux computer using UNetBootin. I haven't had any problems with 8.10 - there's a small sound problem but you only need to add one line to one program - but 9.04 Beta installs flawlessly [though I would warn you against the 9.04 netbook remix, as when I installed it it broke the OS and I had to re-install 8.1.]
-2 GB RAM
-4 GB SSD [2 GB SD Card: getting 16 GB SDHC]
Sold for $180 so I could buy Mini 10, XP/Ubuntu, 160GB HD, 1GB RAM, 1366x768 screen, 6-cell for $260.
[Extra screen space IS AMAZING, as is having a working keyboard]

Latest update: My dell mini has still not arrived. I found out that my order had been canceled for some reason. Called customer service on Tuesday, 4/7, wanting answers. I first spoke with two people that barely spoke my language, English, which is common these days. Go figure. They explained that my order had been canceled due to payment reasons(I don't know why.) Anyway, I finally talked to a sales rep. that was on the same page. He hooked me up with a 512 mb ram, 8 gig ssd, obsedian black with Windows XP for the same price as the 512mb 4gig ssd, with Ubuntu. So for $217 and some change, I'm pretty happy. Should arrive by 4/16. As for Ubuntu, I picked up and older P3 desktop that I am gonna install it on. I still want to play around with the software.

Buy a bigger SSD. It's going to be annoying installing OSX on an 8GB because you have to shrink/strip the install. I already mastered it but for a first timer it may be difficult to comprehend/understand. Stick with 32GB, 64GB, and the new 128GB (If you want to shell out 300 of them thangs)
I would go for a bigger one that way you can triple boot and have all 3 operating systems and no need to decide which ones you want. I would go for Ubuntu and OSX if it were me. Use WINE for Ubuntu and have the best of both worlds I guess.
