I'm not experienced with keyboard remappers... I'm needing an F11 and F12 added to my keyboard; is it possible?

Yup. This will not do FN+ though, so sharpkeys might work better!

I've used a free [beer] program called KeyTweak to give myself an F11 key in place of the far less useful F10. See here:

It was super easy.

Can any of you please post a picture of a DELL Mini 9 with a Latin-American or Spanish keyboard layout. (ie, a keyboard that includes the spanish letter "ñ" ?

I live in Mexico and I am wondering if the MINI 9's that are sold here by DELL do indeed come with a Spanish/Latin keyboard layout (I am talking about the physical keyboard, not the mapping of keys).

Thanks in advance.

FN+Z is F11, FN+X is F12

These work in OS X too. Fn + X is Eject which is what F12 becomes if your mac does not have a dedicated Eject key. Kind of funny

I've posted some simple instructions to enable this in Ubuntu here.

Has anyone ever swapped the actual keys after re-mapping? They appear to be the same size, wondering if anyone had tried this?

Yup, it's quite easy to do, you just have to be careful and apply firm and even pressure to pop them off. If you break it it'll run you $20 to get a replacement keyboard.

More info on this thread and my link above.
