16GB is the largest I've ever seen for sale at the Dell Outlet, but I agree with the previous poster that the supply at the outlet seems to be drying up very rapidly. Perhaps (hopefully) that's merely a temporary thing; it seems likely that there may be a wave of returns / cancellations when they start shipping the units from the end of February sale.
On another point, it's worth noting that it is pretty easy and well-documented how to upgrade the SSD
on a Dell Mini 9, on this site and on others, and that an upgrade to the SSD
from a third party can dramatically improve the performance of the Mini, at a price very similar to buying a larger drive from Dell (particularly if you count in the discount from shopping the Outlet). Here's a link to a video of the process and displaying the difference (VERY significant): http://jkkmobile.blogspot.com/2008/1...ll-mini-9.html
Also of note is that those high speed SSDs are the Runcore 32GB or 64GB SSDs; STEC SSDs are the ones that Dell ships with the mini; the STECs have a high read speed but a very low write speed, which really cripples them. The Runcore SSDs are in high demand, with availability being a little difficult right now (for more info, check the forum here on mydellmini for "runcore availability"). One more point to note: the Runcore SSDs come in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB sizes; the 16GB does not seem to have the high speed of the 32GB and 64GB SSDs.
