After going through total hell with Mac OS's at my 2nd job (I'm the IT Director there), I'd rather have a pineapple stuffed up my butt backwards than run OSX - but that's just my personal opinion. I may try Windows 7 on mine since we have an ISO of it, but I'm guessing that the XP install would be smaller.

If you want to spend a bunch of money on your Mini to put XP or OSX on it, knock yourself out.
For my money, Ubuntu is the best OS for the Mini because it is 1) FREE, and 2) SUPPORTED.
I'm not going to drop $100+ for an unsupported OS on a $300 netbook, and thats exactly what you get with XP or OSX. One isn't supported by its manufacturer, and the other isn't supported on your hardware.
