James i would like to tell you that the system you have is a basic configuration system and you can not do audio and video streaming on the system to do the streaming we will need to have a enhanced video and sound card on the system .

I understand that, but I find that when I disable the NIC, and Wifi and web cam, I over a 200mb/s increase in memory read speed. I find this also impacts overall system performance

95% of the latency spikes are caused by the nic and wifi

James , i agree to that as these devices use enhanced audio and video this cause the hi Spikes but as the system has a basic configurations and has limited memory the issue will come up the system is not made for hi end streaming .

ok, I just wanted to see if Dell was aware of the issue with the spikes, MSI, and Gigabyte have released bios fixes that take care of the latency problems in their boards. I was just curious if Dell has any plans for this.

So it looks like Dell knows about it, but have no plans to change it at this time. It looks like everyone needs to get on the bandwagon, and start asking dell to fix it, or provide better drivers. I think their excuse for limited video memory is a just an excuse. The Atom specs list it as having an hd converter in it.
