First off, I got a mini 9 in early January. Love this little computer (my first laptop ever). I can't believe how refined these lil computers have become - a small, sexy and very functional appliance. I'm also quite impressed with the atom processor - it's not uber fast (tho more than adequate), but it's low power consumption is very impressive. I'm using this computer as my second programming computer - it runs MS VS2008 no problems.
I've noticed the glossy LCD display really attracts and shows off dust. Usually I try to avoid touching these displays, but there will come a time when it will need to be cleaned. Any recommendations?
I've found that scotch tape is very effective at removing dust from the display. It takes a while to clean the display this way (and lots of tape) but it works and does not leave any scratches. How does one get fingerprints and other dried food and goo off the display without scratching it? I wish they'd put a thin glass cover over these displays, or at least something that does not scratch easily like plastic.
