Hi guys i just installed Windows 8 build 8102 on my dell mini and then promptly found out that to use the new metro apps you will need to have a resoloution of 1024x768 and since the dell mini's highest resoloution is only 1024x600 i had some research to do after installing this graphics driver
win7_1512754.exe just search for it on google and download it from intel
i fiddled around in the registry and found this Display1_DownScalingSupported
to find this just search in the registry and change the value from 0 to 1 and reboot
after rebooting i tried to change my resoloution and i was able to use the following resoloution's 800x600 1024x600 1024x768 and 1152x864 once i had the option to use these resoloution's i immediatly chose the highest and it looks a little wierd on a small screen but you will get used to it and beacuse the resoloution is higher that 1024x768 you can now use the metro apps and take full advantage of window's 8's features
