| Senior Member Posts: 326 Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Maryland | Go here for Ubuntu Download | Ubuntu & yes it is a fast boot just over 1 minute to a wireless connection (that alone is about 25 seconds). Try it on your USB flash drive & see if you like it. If you use 10.04 like mine you will need to connect via ethernet to get the broadcom driver for your wireless card. If you want to keep Win XP, then a clean install will speed it up nicely (it won't be as fast as Ubuntu or Win 7). |
