Default OSX/ChromeOS (Chromium) dual boot - 12-14-2010, 03:37 AM

Hello all!

I am happily running osx on my mini 9, and want to give ChromiumOS a try. I've used it on another netbook I have, and quite like it. I created a live USB and a live SD, but wasn't able to get the mini to boot into either of them. No matter what I choose (by pressing 0, and choosing to boot into removable drive), the computer starts into osx.

Any thoughts?

1. You need to enable "Legacy USB" in the BIOS to boot from USB
2. The Mini 9 won't boot from the SD card - the "Removable drive" option does nothing.

Chromium OS unfortunately does not support installing to a partition. The install script you can download will erase you entire disc. I'm looking into modifying it to install to a partition to dual boot windows 7 and chromium (if chromium supports touchscreens)
