Default Anyone try some video editing on Mini 9 - 01-05-2009, 01:03 AM

I'm looking in to getting a Dell Mini 9 for traveling and in addition to maintaining my blog would like to resize photos and do some simple editing with the lightweight video editor VideoSpin from Pinnacle.

I see in post about JKKMobile installing RunCore 64GB SSD elsewhere on this site that he mentions he's done some successful video editing. Anyone else have any experience?

Does the Mini 9 support DirectX 9?

VideoSpin requires 1024x768 screen resolution. On an old Acer laptop I've got I can set a screen resolution that is bigger than the physical resolution - in doing so the laptop LCD appears as a window on to that bigger screen - when you move the mouse to the edge of the screen, it scrolls. Is this possible on the Mini 9?

Thanks for you help.
