for uni reasons, but if it's allowed to ask how does the Adobe portable applications run on 9's or Adobe apps in general. (IL, PS, DW, FW, B), any known problems there..

OS? XP or 7?

got a 10v OSX but not a great fan of duel booting with a hackintosh. anyhow's want a mini 9 ..

thanks for your time..

well, Adobe is a memory hogger, so you surely want 2gb, that goes without saying....I have read where Photoshop (PS) does tend to lag...it is a pretty intensive program and needs quite a bit of resources which the Minis just dont do a real good job at...it will run but probably not as fast as you may like....I think that same would probably apply to Illustrator (IL), Dreamweaver (DW) and Fireworks (FW) not sure about Bridge (B), as far as OS goes I personally would go with Win 7, it runs real nice on the Minis....I think faster than Win XP.....

I think the low vertical resolution (600px) can be a problem with some apps on the Mini 9.

hmm i was thinking the resolution might be the problem and adobe RAM hog. if i get a 1012 may as well duel boot on my 1011.

so I'll get a mini 9 put 7 on and see how it goes (the ram replacement is a pice of cake compared to the 1011)

but thanks for the tips,
