Default Help with gnome-do - 12-31-2008, 02:11 AM

So I'm a Ubuntu noob who has happily used Launchy on windows for a good while now. I've read that gnome-do is the Linux equivalent of Launchy, and I managed to install it on my Mini . . . but I can't get it to work. The default key binding for gnome-do is Winkey+spacebar, but that doesn't work on the Mini because the Winkey acts like F-11, i.e., toggle fullscreen.

Could one of you Ubuntu wizards please tell me how to bind another key combo to launch gnome-do? I've googled for solutions, but either I don't understand them, or they don't work on the Mini.

Just launch it via the menu to begin with, if you've not already. Then right-click on its icon in the system tray - looks like a white cog on a purple background. You can change the keybinding and startup options in the preferences from there.
