Hi, ok ill get straight to the point:
My dell was working fine. It doesn't have a cd drive, think it has a floppy (its in the attic but i can check if needs be).
Anway, a few weeks ago the computer, while I was using it, brought up a blue screen with a fairly short error message on it. I restarted it, and it worked for a bit, then the same thign happened. repeat process 5-6x, now I cant get passed windows start-up graphic before it sets in.
I spoke to dell, they suggested re-installing windows as the guy said he as certain this would fix it. However, as there is no cd-drive, i didn't recieve a reinstall cd. So, what I need to know is:
How do I perform a reinstallation of windows xp without a cd, and without being able to get into the computer.
I am able to get into the boot options if my timing is good enough =)
Hopefully someone can help me out, Im going away soon and really need it working before I leave.
