Since getting my mini 9, I have never used the Admin password. Running Ubuntu. Now that I want to update some programs, I need the password and i can't remember it. Any way to find it or over ride it and put in a new password?

Find your exact username. "whoami" (who am I) in a terminal will work.

Next, reboot into http://wiki.ubuntu.com/RecoveryMode. Finally, execute "passwd username" to change username's password (you'll be prompted for the new password). Then execute "shutdown -r now" to reboot, or tap the power button.
