I didn't intend to do a durability test on my Mini but this morning I was grabbing my computer bag to go to work. It has a zip open bottom half designed for a portable 9" DVD player. I forgot to zip it closed and grabbed it off my counter height table on a porcelin tile floor. Because the battery is in the back it flipped it over in air and landed on the back edge then fell flat facing top up. I examined it closely and other than unsnapping the screen bezle in a few places it doesn't even have a scratch. I fired it up immeadiatly and all was well. No cracked screen or anything. I'd say Dell did a pretty good job on making it tough.
