Default Reseting the BIOS or maybe reformating without usb - 09-29-2009, 04:22 AM

I have recently tried a fresh install of OSX on my mini9 and I got it to go through. The problem happened once I tried to upgrade to 10.5.8.

Now my mini won't boot into the operating system from the SSD drive and it won't recognize my usb drive to boot and reformat. Is there a way to do an external boot without using a usb drive or maybe a way to reformat the SSD or bios (currently BIOS4) from the bios screen.

Will installing a different SSD let this work or should I try to refresh the bios somehow?

No and no. Did you enable Legacy USB in the BIOS? This will allow booting from USB.
