If you manage to squeak a replacement by then good for you, but if you broke it you should fix it.
Sometimes S#!7 happens and you have to deal with it, as unpleasant or expensive as it may turn out to be.
I don't think you'll see a lot of support from folks on the forums with this tale.
Folks tend to resent hearing stories about people getting away with not owning up to stuff they're responsible for.
I'm not saying I wouldn't try the same thing if it was open to me. I know my self well enough by now.
I just wouldn't be telling everyone about it. :|

This is a good warning, if nothing else. I usually park the Mini9 on the floor next to my bed after I get done watching video on it at night. I've generally pushed it far enough under my bed to not be an issue, but not always. I think I'll be more careful about that in the future.

you could also use this opportunity to get another mini from the dell outlet with the coupon code on our front page and then use that dell as some sort of weird server or something... not sure. Or maybe use it like an eeeBox.

I posted a picture in the picture thread so you guys can take a look. Its not TOO bad as the entire screen still works except for a few small areas.
