Alright.... I wasn't able with the SSD
screws for my 2 Minis & took it to my favorite computer store on the island.
Well.... Let's just say I'm still trying to pick up my jaw + the rest of my face up from off of the desk & the floor....
I said to the tech that the screws were tough. The 1st one had a hard time & didn't know what to do; it was sort of hilarious. The other 1 who came to help just went, grabbed a screwdriver (same type I used) & got them out in less than a minute. If he even spent a good 10 seconds on them, that was a lot. Then, he made a wise crack about being a professional & also said, "There's nothing wrong with the screws." (I just wanted to sink through the floor....)
That was absolute LOL, WTH.... I'm probably going to get teased for the rest of my life, every time I go in that store. xD [They're nice people, though.... I mean they didn't even have to look at my computer, but they did any way.]
The good news is that they loved the Minis & I can upgrade any time I'm ready!
Edit-092809: Alright. I am just about done with those darned "precision" screw driver sets. I understand what every one was saying in earlier posts now. The back panel cover screws were "difficult" with the precision screwdriver, but ridiculously easy with the screwdriver with the long/regular-sized handle.
This time around I got every thing out, except for the left screw on the WLAN card. (What is it with Dell + me + the left screws being hard to remove? ~sigh, lol~ It's absolutely funny: 1st, it was the left screw on the SSDs that I couldn't get out & now, it's the left screw on the WLAN. Hhmm, maybe, I'm just not so good with the left. Well, I guess I'm off to see Mr. SexyTECh again at the shop.... LOL)
