Question Was working fine, now I get a boot0: error - 08-11-2009, 05:59 PM

My mini was working fine. I used it this morning. Booted into OS with no problems, connected to the internet just fine. Shut it down. I pulled it out a few minutes ago to use again and it goes right to a boot0: error. What happened and how do I repair it? Any suggestions?

Darn it, I meant to post this in the OSx86 forum. Mods, can you please move it? Sorry! Thanks -

is this on a Dell mini 9?
If so, i had the same thing only it also mentioned EBIOS: Error reading block.
I ran the dell diagnostics image from netboot to discover that the STEC had failed after a mere 3 days of use.
Dell replaced it after 3 days which was cool. Bought a RunCore which I installed today and having no problems so far *touch wood*.

I figured alot of read/writes to SSD can cause it to fail quite soon so I disabled spotlight and moved my home dir to a SDHC card. All is well.
