Default Got a new "Upgrade" today! - 07-03-2009, 11:49 PM

Super Talent 128GB SSD.

Newegg.com - SUPER TALENT Double Wide FDM28GFDL Half Mini PCIe 128GB Mini PCIe (PATA) MLC Internal Solid state disk (SSD) - Solid State Disks

I just wish it had a USB port like the Runcores.

I'll be posting my 32gb Runcore in the Fr Sale section as soon as I get this installed

Black Mini 9, SuperTalent 128gb SSD, 2 GB RAM, OSX 10.5 & Windows 7 (Touch Screen to be installed)
Black Mini 9, Runcore 16gb SSD, 2 GB RAM, Easy Peasy Linux (Work In Progress)
Black ASUS EEE PC 900HA, 320gb 7200 RPM HDD, 2 GB RAM, Windows 7
Looking for an SSD or have one to sell? PM me!

It runs just as fast as my old Runcore so I'm very pleased with it. Now I just gotta get my OSX / Win 7 dual boot finished

Note that the 128GB version is "double-wide" - if you have the WWAN option installed, this won't fit.

Egads! That SSD alone cost as much as the unit itself. I think I'll stick with my puny 16gb SSD.

Just finished my Win 7 / OSX 10.5 dual boot. Everything is working great. Now I gotta install my touch screen!

Putting the 32gb Runcore that was in my Mini up for sale in the For Sale section now.

Um ... it'll be a while before I could justify spending THAT much on a SSD for my A90!

Was any dremeling needed to make it fit? Did you have to remove the bluetooth or WiFi cards?
