Default Picasa/ Fireworks solution for Mini 9? - 07-01-2009, 08:27 PM

What do you use for photo editing software on your Mini 9? I am looking for a software that allows you to do the basic as well as watermark your photos. the watermarking is a big thing for me.

thanks

Picasa works on the Mini 9. I don't know if it does watermarking. Fireworks is not photo editing software.

Picasa does have watermarking in V3, but it only has a solid white lettering on exports and uploads to picasa website. I never found a way to modify text, color/font/transparency....

Fireworks works fine... I use it on my mini 9. Dunno if it does watermarks though.

I know about Picassa I use it and it doesnt do enough for my liking terribly limited Watermarking or the ability to whack some text on the photo is all i care about.

Im an avid fan of fireworks. Though How does fireworks cope on the dell mini? isn't it too bulky and clunky? I was hoping for a slimer, lighter open-source option to be honest...

EDIT:- Silly me Ive figured it out in picasa, however its not as adept as fireworks for putting text on, if anyone has a slimer version that does a better job please tell thanks!

Default Have you ever tried Irfanview? - 07-02-2009, 04:00 PM

Irfanview has batch processing and you can add text,
it is under advanced options in batch processing...
I haven't tried watermarking with it, but it looks to have alot
more options, I do use it for a lot of other functions ... conversion/sizing/etc...

What's wrong with using Photoshop or GIMP or GIMPShop?
