Default Solution: For typers on the dell mini 12 - 06-19-2009, 01:51 AM

If anyone uses the dell mini 12 for typing college essay or a big paper. You probably have the same horrible experience I had. Unattentional my hand slight rubs the mouse pad and screws up my typing cause the cursor clicks every where.

I found a solution without disabling the mouse pad (that was my original plan).

Here's what you do:

1) Download and install the Dell touchpad application/synaptic Application
Windows 7/Vista:
Windows xp:

2) Install it and open the Dell Touchpad application

3) Go to the Touch Pad Setting

4) Under "Taps" disable "Tab to Click" and should solve majority of the typing issue.

Of course there's a con, for people who like tabbing instead left clicking is not going to like it.

That feature already came with my Mini 12 under Touchpad settings.
