I was given an Inspiron 1210, and the 1.8" 80GB ZIF drive was failing. I ordered a 120GB and deciced to clone the system to the new drive. I have it install in the machine and the BIOS recognizes it, but on boot I get the error: Failure Fixed Disk 0 Running a diagnostic on the new drive shows no problems... I ran EuroSoft PC Check 7.05 on it. The new drive is a Toshiba brand... if that makes any difference. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks. |
