Well, pretty much just follow the standard procedure outlined in the dell manuals posted in this forum. except, it did took me a while to figured out about the various connectors.
There were significant improvement when it was used. But, I had to swap back to the original hard-disk as there were some hardware faults with the SSD
and cause the system to failed. I was using ubuntu, and the file system was corrupted when it hit somewhere around 18GB into the SSD
. As it was too much troubles to try to work around that, I just swap back.
At this stage, I just remove the McAFree and the system is more responsive even in vista. So, I am going to live this it for a while before trying again.
