For me, the 10v gets noticeably shorter battery life than the 10. That makes sense with it's N270 vs. the Z5xx series which is designed for power savings. With a Vertex on the Mini 10, I got over 4 hrs. in two tests. Same Vertex on the Mini 10v and I got exactly 3 hours from 100% to forced hibernate @2% battery. In all cases, Bluetooth and WiFi were on and actual use was on the light side; idling to light browsing. These tests were in Windows 7 but not the same build so that is a variable.
I would love to see the 28 WHr battery option (Mini 10) available in the 10v. I think that would bring the 10v up to the same battery life as the Mini 10 with the 24 WHr battery.
In the 10v I've used a Samsung HM320JI which is quite efficient but haven't run it from start to finish yet. It has lasted over 2 hours, though.
