Default Installing OS X help - 06-24-2009, 10:46 PM

I'm getting a 10v to put OSX on. I do not have a mac and i noticed from the "how to" video that you need to load OSX on a flash drive. I can prob borrow my buddy's mac if i need to. but if i purchase an OSX disk and i have an external dvd drive can i not just load OSX from there? Also should I dual boot?

Depending on what video you were looking at, you don't need a Mac to do it. If you want to install from USB key, use an app called TransMac.
