Question Ubuntu / screen rotation - 06-17-2009, 10:10 AM

Greetings, I am thinking of purchasing a 10v myself and plan to get it with Ubuntu (and reinstall with the latest 9.04). Since my main usage will be to read PDFs and ebooks on the train, is it possible to rotate the screen display 90 degrees? I know Ubuntu can do it IF the hardware will support it. Does the 10v support that?

I know the Mini 9 (with similar hardware) supports it under Ubuntu. But the narrow vertical viewing angle sometimes makes the screen look weird when viewed at a 90 degree angle.

Mini 9 | Intel 5100 Wifi | Ubuntu 10.04 Netbook
Mini 1012 | SSD | Intel 6200 Wifi | Ubuntu 11.10 64bit
