Default 4gb's on the 10v? - 06-05-2009, 02:59 AM

Has a 4gb ram updgrade been confirmed or denied for the 10v by anyone yet?

A quick search showed a random and poorly written c-net "review" (and i use the term loosely) where 4gb's is mentioned.

If the single 4gb stick weren't so prohibitively expensive i'd try it myself.

It cannot use 4GB of ram, the GMA 950 chipset limits it to 2GB.

The chipset is the 945GSE - and you are correct that the chipset limits the RAM to 2GB. GMA950 is the name for the integrated graphics in this chipset.
