I sent an email to Mike Dell yesterday (not expecting anything in return) and I got a call today.
They are looking into my case. Same story but different guy, but because he responded to my email, it gives me a little hope.

This guy told me that the 120 GB HDDs are out of stock. I asked him that I'm willing to change the Hard Drive option. He did not recommend it as it would add to the 7 to 10 day delay.

I told him about the Fast Track option online and he told me that those dates are estimates as well.

So they are willing to charge $60 for next day delivery and not even guarantee that it will ship within 1 day. Oh well.

At least I got a call back. Once again, at this point it's the small things.

I just called Dell CS and spoke to a good rep. He said he had no idea what was taking to long and he would call his friend who works in the production department to check out what is taking my order so long. He also expedited my order, and removed my shipping charge (now i am paying $0.00) for shipping AND he upgraded me to free next day air. im pleased so far, but i want the computer before the 4th so i can work on getting OSX installed during the holiday.

Best rep I have ever talked to, lets see how much longer my mini takes after all this.

@metalunna: I keep tracking this thread and hope that you can receive 2 mini10v's very soon.

I ordered my Mini10v on Jun-11 and received it today. I found one dead pixel on the LED display.
First impression: I love the keyboard very much, compared to the awkward keyboard of my VostroA90. I don't like the trackpad at all.
I am still installing XP/OSX dual boot...

Vostro A90, 2GB RAM, Runcore 64GB, BT, 0.3MP Webcam, OSX 10.5.7 + XP SP3 DellEFI 1.2a5 Dual boot.
Mini 10v, 2GB RAM, 120GB HD, BT, 1.3MP Webcam, OSX 10.5.7 + XP SP3 DellEFI 1.2a5 Dual boot.

Ordered on June 16th
N270, 160GB, Wireless N, Bluetooth
Estimated delivery of July 1

Recieved notification today of delay until July 8

I decided to give Dell a call & see if I could stick it to the man & get some free overnight shipping.

Dell rep was no help. Basicly said delay was not their fault therefore they are unable or unwilling to help.

I told them "no problem just cancel the order" expecting them to waiver. No Joy! ;0)

So I let them cancel order & then made another one but this time was able to get:
N280, 160GB, Wirless N, Bluetooth & mini photo printer ( Will never be used ;0)!! ) for only $18 more then the first order & a ship date of July 6.

So, I'm happier with the new config even if it comes later.

Get This!!
I recieve Email notice today that my estimated delivery date has been pushed back to 07/08/09 from 07/01/09.

I told them to cancel order over the phone & also sent email to cancel order.

Now 3 hours later after I have already ordered another one I get an email that says my order has been SHIPPED!!

I have always been loyal to Dell & have never purchased a PC from any other company. (I have purchased 6 over the years.)

It seems like their service gets worse & worse everytime I buy from them.

I guess if I refuse to sighn for this one the shipping company will send it back to Dell & I wont have to bother with it.
