Here is the pinout of the relevant wires in the bluetooth connector. You can use this to attach or solder any bluetooth module. 1 = BLACK = 3.3V 2 = BROWN = GND 3 = RED = USB D+ 4 = Orange = USB D- |

Got my HP bluetooth module working. It even works with the dell wireless select switch. Thanks again for your help anguish. |

Yes the other three wires are not used. One of them can be used for an LED. But dell does not use it. Someone could actually pull the led signal from there and install a new led next to the power led to change the color when bluetooth is on. |

Speaking of bluetooth, do I select "fix bluetooth" in the second DellEFI custom install after the 10.5.7 combo update? I'm right there and about to run it. Just wondering. |

Nice! I was actually thinking of connecting this to a RF cordless mouse dongle, but I would have to find a +5v somewhere for that. any chance one of those unused wires is +5v? As far as the audio, I got mine working with Voodoo HDA, although haven't tested for sleep and stuff. voodoohda - Project Hosting on Google Code |
