Hey Anguish, how easy or difficult is it to replace the ram?
If I use a 7 point scale (1 = so easy that a complete idiot can do it; 7 = it takes 3 rocket scientists to do it), I rate changing ram on a Mini 9 a "2" (maybe 1.5). How would you rate the experience with 10v?

Well, considering I've been working with laptops for a long time, I'm ready to give it a 4-5. It is a pain, and you have to be careful to avoid damaging things.

I tried to open my mini10 and stopped after I took the keyboard off. There's no easy way to get that palmset off... and I'd hate to damage anything...

Why can't they make it easier??? Like the 9.

On the Mini 10 you have to keep wiggling the palmrest sideways while gently lifting and all the little snaps eventually come unsnapped. If you pull too hard the plastic of the palmrest might bend and take a "set."

So far, the only thing that I can tell that isn't working is audio. Everything else seems to be, even if somewhat wonkily. Check my thread in the OS X forum.
