Never even looked for it. Windows 7 detects the card out of the box, so to speak. I didn't look for an XP driver.

Correct. I used the 2 gig stick from my mini 9 with no problems. Its DDR2 PC4200. Ironically, my 10v came with DDR2 PC6400 which is overkill for this system. PC6400 runs at 667Mhz. If I am reading everything correctly, the Mini 10v supports up to 533Mhz, which is what PC4200 runs at. Yes, you can use PC5300 and PC6400 but I believe it clocks itself down to the slower speed, so I dont think you would see any real benefit to running it.

Thanks! I ended up finding the wireless driver on the driver CD dell sent with the system. Ironic that its on the CD and not on the website.

Anguish - I would be really interested in hearing your thoughts about Win7 on the Mini 10v. I ran Win 7 on my Mini 9 and was very pleased with how it ran.

Should I risk going with a brand other than the dell? The same type of 2GB stick is $22 shipped on ebay. Dell wants $29 + shipping + tax, $40ish?

I bought my ram from Fry's. No need to go with Dell if you can find it cheaper. If you get DDR2 PC4200 notebook ram, you will be fine.

Don't know where you are located. Fry's is great. Can check New Egg too. 6400 works well on mine.
