just my two cents, took about 45 mins, i had a 2GB 533MHz (not 667) PC5300 (not 6400) stick, it's in there and it boots fine. it doesnt seem to be any quicker, but that may be my pessimistic self. typing still lags, scrolling in iPhoto is a bit slow, i'm starting to think it's just the processor. nothing really bad tho.

Hello everyone!

I want to buy a 2GB memory module for my Dell Mini 10V (1011) that is coming on May. I bought it from ebay (it is Refurbished)...

What memory stick you think is the best bet? ... The 10V's memory can only run on 533MHz ?... or even faster?

Can you advice me please? Im gonna install Mac OS X on it. So I want some more power.. you know..

After being weary for 2 years, I finally decided to take the plunge and do the upgrade on my 10v, man it feels so much faster now!

Since it's so cool to have your system specs in your signature here...

Default G.Skill 2GB worked fine in mine - 09-16-2011, 09:04 PM

Purchased from Newegg for $24.99 with free shipping

Took me probably 45 minutes with this guide

I can't say how it performs because I also installed a 128GB Samsung SSD and plan on a triple boot Win7-OSX-Linux Mint. It does boot from a bootable 4GB Win7 installation USB drive, however.
