When I close the lid, the computer immediately shuts off without going through the shutting down process, and I get the "Windows did not shut down properly" screen when I turn the computer back on. Previously, it would go into suspension.
I checked under Control Panel, and nothing was selected for what it should do when the lid was closed, so I set it to Do Nothing for all power options.
I had this problem a few months ago, and it did this twice before bricking. I've had the motherboard replaced and it was working without incident until yesterday.
I'm running Windows 7 Starter. I haven't messed with the BIOS or done anything out of the ordinary, so I really don't know what may have triggered this.
Does anyone have any ideas on what's going on?
