I've bought a dell Mini 1011 2nd-hand. Seller gave me the BIOS password - that's fine - it works. But I'd really rather be able to get straight into the BIOS without entering it each time.

Is there any way of clearing it?

Press F2 when booting to go into BIOS then under SECURITY, change whichever password you have set...it will ask for the old password and then ask for the new one twice...just leave the new one blank and hit RETURN. Also you might choose disable on boot just below that.
