Default photoshop on mini 10v - 01-18-2012, 05:27 PM

hello all

please be gentle on a newbie...

so i've just got a mini 10v off fleabay, really like it and amazed myself in getting mac osx on it without f..king it up.

now what i want to do is run an old photo shop or aperture on it, has anyone done it and how well does it work?

how much better would it be on 2meg ram, its looks like a very difficult upgrade and bear in mind i'm fairly clumsy..

thanks in advance for any help

John

the 2gb upgrade is a no brainer, with a 1gb PS will be pretty sluggish, its better with 2gb, I recently popped 2gb in my 1010 (which by the way is NO EASY TASK) upgrading on a 1011 (10v) is a piece of cake....but I have seen marked improvement with PS, it by no means runs like it does on my big HP laptop that runs @ over 3ghz, but its an improvement none the less....good luck
