The lump at the back is the battery. I have it on my Mini 9 too & have learned to live with it. It really only bothered me the first couple days.
I've decided to give win7 a go, I've been stuck on xp for a while now I guess!

Its not the dell pink? Do you think it may have been painted before?

As for the battery thanks for clearing it up. I'll learn to live with it! If its a cheap chinese battery I may replace it at some stage...

RAM ordered, Trackpad ordered, Hard Drive ready, paint ready.... just need the machine itself!!! Hurry up royal mail!!!

Well long story short, the laptop never turned up, purchased a new m301z instead (moving to oz in 10 days)

So, for sale: 1010 trackpad and palmrest £10 delivered
2gb RAM brand new from crucial £15 delivered.
