I recently had my 10v crash, and i am trying to recover it back to original. It appears Dell never provided me with the re-install for the mycolors/Nickelodeon theme materials.

Does anyone have a copy of this software or disk they could help provide me for reinstall on my unit?

I spoke with Dell support and provided them the info of the disk, but they say its obsolete and would not be able to provide.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Ive done some research and there is a retail freebie version of mycolors available from their website with a green theme. and there is a link on dell support for patches to the nick theme. but not enough to get the job done.

I purchased a dell mini of e-bay and allthe software including Nickelodeon Theme - mycolors was in the box. I could proablly burn a copy and since it is obsolete there should not be any copy right problems? I see you live in the US so I think it is doable. Just let me know if you still need the software and leave a mailing address........James

although Dell said it was obsolete, they we probably not the original copyright holders anyway, mycolors probably was and might still have the copyrights on it

Do you still have the Nickelodeon edition disk? If so, were you able to copy it without any copy right issues?

I bought a refurbished Nick mini that came without the theme installed, I contacted Dell support and they sent a copy of the disk.
However, it is not very compatible with Windows 7, unless you want to stick to XP, which is not a good idea, I would not recommend it.

@jjthebo, Hi, I noticed your earlier post about the reinstallation disc for this netbook. I just bought a used one off eBay for my daughter and the seller included all the discs except the Nickelodeon Edition theme stuff. Would you be willing to burn me a copy and mail it to me in California? I'd be willing to PayPal you a couple of bucks if that helps, though I realize it's your time that I'm asking for. Anyway, if not that's fine, but if you have a moment just let me know either way. Thank you.
