Default WIndows xp drivers disk to usb. - 11-08-2011, 02:40 AM

I Have a dell mini 10v and i just reinstalled windows xp. I have the driver disk that came with the unit. I was wondering if there was a way to install the drivers from the disk to a usb dongle. then to my dell mini 10v. Like make the usb drive boot like the driver disk does when i insert it. Thanks.

is it really important to do it that way?

I would just the folder(s) from the cd to the usb key and then run the exe files from the usb...
even better, download the drivers 1 by 1 from the dell support page and be sure to get the latest drivers (your cd might be old)...
