Default freezing on start up - 10-15-2011, 07:46 PM

my laptop seems to be freezing during post on startup. my only option seems to be to hard start and try again.

every couple times it will make it into the bios and allow me start loading windows from a usb stick, but always freezes or gives and assortment of blue screens, page fault errors ect.

help please?

*ok tried again, got as far as pulling up the windows instal from the usb stick, then a stop screen error comes up. [***stop: 0x000000c5]

**got beeps again, its a pheonix bios, but I don't understand how 1 long beep and 2 short beeps is translated into four numbers.

thanks, it def was one of the low beep errors, but I've been trying again and again w/ no beeps.

I get as far as it starting to load the setup files or actually starting the installation but get to various blue screens. The one I'm looking at now is "kernal_apc_pending_exit".

after a few more tries I got windows installed and it was up and running. to test it I shut it down and turned it back on, and now it's freezing in post w/ no beeps. after a couple hard starts I got a black screen that read "the file is possibly corrupt. the file header checksum does not match the computed checksum"

a few more tries and it just froze until finally spitting out "no physical memory is available at the location required for the windows boot manager. the system can not contimue"
